Dr. Christine Carmichael started Fair Forests Consulting in 2019 to help communities across the country to create healthy urban forests that everyone can benefit from.
Her work has spanned Detroit, Michigan where she studied reasons for "no-tree requests" to Holyoke, Massachusetts where she helped to create an award-winning Urban Forest E

Her work has spanned Detroit, Michigan where she studied reasons for "no-tree requests" to Holyoke, Massachusetts where she helped to create an award-winning Urban Forest Equity Plan.
She has also helped to create training on "Health Impacts of Climate Change" for Community Health Workers (CHWs) in Michigan!
